Ryuto Fukuda joined JAFCO in April 2026 after completing his master’s degree at Osaka University’s Graduate School of Engineering. During his studies, he was engaged in research and development of software for drone inspections, while also working as an intern at a deep-tech startup, where he contributed to the development of patented technologies and conducted research into new business domains. At JAFCO, he is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for seed- and early-stage startups at the Investment Division.
I have the utmost respect for entrepreneurs who are shaping the future by taking on new challenges. Capitalizing on my mobility owing to my youth, I will be on the ground, working closely alongside our partners, staying as close as possible to their vision, and dedicating myself to thinking through challenges side by side.
