Yoshiki Kamiaka Yoshiki Kamiaka

After graduating from Kwansei Gakuin University, Yoshiki Kamiaka joined Freee in April 2017 as part of its second cohort of new graduates. He was engaged in a range of functions including sales, human resources, business planning, and corporate planning, and experienced the company’s rapid organizational expansion before and after its IPO. He joined JAFCO in August 2023, where he is responsible for investments across a broad range of sectors, primarily in seed- and early-stage IT startups. He is originally from Kagoshima Prefecture.
I chose to pursue a career as an investment professional with the aim of helping build a future in which Japan’s presence in the world is stronger by the time my children enter society. I am deeply inspired by the bold visions startups pursue, and I will devote all the knowledge and experience I gained in business firms to helping bring those visions to life. I will never cut corners in any situation and will stand alongside entrepreneurs and management teams, seeing things through together. I also aspire to be like a hub that connects people and to contribute to the development of Japan’s startup ecosystem as well.
