He joined JAFCO in April 2007. He is engaged in seed and early-stage start-up investments at the Venture Investment Division. After being transferred to the Japan M&A Center, he was in charge of investment in university-originated ventures in the Industry-Academia-Life Science Investment Group. Since 2020, he has been mainly in charge of fund solicitation and investor relations (IR) for investors in the Fund Management Division.
I believe that a continuous supply of risk money is essential to support entrepreneurs and companies taking on new business challenges. To this end, I am working to invite investors to invest in our funds by carefully communicating venture capital investments, the appeal of buyout investments and the unique strengths of JAFCO and to build long-term relationships of trust with them. I am working diligently every day to play a part in nurturing an even larger flow of funds without stopping the cycle.
