After graduating from the School of Commerce at Waseda University, he joined JAFCO in April 1992. After working in the investment, information management and reporting businesses, he was in charge of JAFCO's fund procurement, mainly for financial institutions, at the Finance Department (at that time). Since 2002, he has belonged to the current Fund Management Division. Since the establishment of G-9 in the same year, he has been in charge of offering all core funds and investor relations (IR) for investors and has been engaged in building relationships with and responding to various financial institutions such as mega-banks, regional banks, and life and non-life insurance companies.
JAFCO funds are based on long-term management and performance is not guaranteed. I feel that it is not easy to make an investment decision because it takes time to see results and sometimes there are temporary losses. Nevertheless, with an understanding of these characteristics and from a medium- to long-term perspective, some people are considering and promoting investment in our fund as part of their own new initiatives and asset management. As a person who builds a relationship of trust with such people and connects them with related parties inside and outside the company, I have tried to carefully convey the significance of the fund. I will continue to strive to be a reliable partner for our investors through transparent information disclosure and sincere responses.
