After graduating from the Faculty of Commerce and Management at Hitotsubashi University, Takumi Nakamura joined the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs Japan as a new graduate in April 2023. As an analyst, he was involved in a wide range of M&A transactions and equity and bond financing projects across industries including entertainment, financial services, and consumer businesses. He joined JAFCO in April 2025. In the Investment Division, he is currently in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for a broad range of companies from seed- to later-stage startups, primarily in areas such as AI, entertainment, content, and financial services.
I will work hard every day to create a “win-win-win relationship” and become a presence that will continuously liven up the startup ecosystem.
