After graduating from the Faculty of Commerce and Management of the Department of Business Management at Hitotsubashi University, Takumi Nakamura joined the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs Japan as a new graduate in 2023. As an analyst, he engaged in M&A by private equity funds as well as equity and bond financing projects for FinTech and consumer companies. He joined JAFCO in April 2025. In the Investment Division, he is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for seed- and early-stage startups in fields such as AI BPO, roll-up businesses, entertainment, real estate, and construction.
I will work hard every day to create a “win-win-win relationship” and become a presence that will continuously liven up the startup ecosystem.
