After graduating from the School of Foreign Languages, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Atsushi Nishida worked for the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). He then studied at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and worked at Arthur D. Little Japan before joining JAFCO in March 2025. In the Investment Division, he is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for seed- and early-stage startups in the Deep-Tech field. He holds an MBA.
In my previous positions, I was often involved in tech-related fields, mainly energy. I would like to invest primarily in the tech-related field at JAFCO as well. On weekends, I wander around Yokohama looking for places to take my two sons.
