Yuki Ishimoto Yuki Ishimoto

After graduating from the Department of Veterinary Medicine, School of Veterinary Medicine, Azabu University, Yuki Ishimoto worked at Ono Pharmaceutical, later joining JAFCO in September 2023. In the Industry-Academia Life Science Investment Group of the Investment Division, he is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support services mainly for startups in the life science field. He is an MBA.

Before joining JAFCO, I was engaged in the search for in-licensing candidate compounds, scientific and business feasibility evaluations, and out-licensing activities at the business development division and the US branch office of Ono Pharmaceutical. In addition, I was engaged in the consideration of expansion in Asia and business support for local subsidiaries in the overseas business division. I aim to contribute to people's happiness and health by acting as a bridge between technology, business, and finance, utilizing the knowledge I have accumulated in the life sciences field and my experience in business development.
