Kohei Kawashima joined JAFCO in April 2023 after graduating from the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Osaka. He is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for seed- and early-stage startups at the Investment Division.

I feel that my admiration for entrepreneurs is what keeps me going in this job. I would like to see things that I can't see on my own with our portfolio companies. Since joining JAFCO, I have been considering investments in a wide range of fields, focusing on startups centered on the entertainment field, SaaS for legacy industries, M&A and roll-up strategies.
