After graduating from the Faculty of Business and Commerce at Keio University, Aki Uehara joined JAFCO in April 2023. She is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for seed- and early-stage startups at the Investment Division. She is also engaged in planning and managing various events and seminars aimed at establishing new points of contact with entrepreneurs.
To date, I have worked to build communities and create opportunities through a variety of programs, including the planning and management of startup conferences focused on seed-stage entrepreneurs, seminars in collaboration with financial institutions and stock exchanges, and networking events to promote collaboration between startups and large companies. I would like to continue contributing to the revitalization of the startup ecosystem.
