Yuki Tanaka Yuki Tanaka

After graduating from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University, Yuki Tanaka worked for TOYOTA MOTOR and Arthur D. Little Japan before joining JAFCO in October 2022. At the Investment Division, he is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support primarily for seed- and early-stage startups in the manufacturing, mobility, and roll-up fields.

I am working on domain-specific investment projects that deepen market understanding and create market-driven investment opportunities. In 2024, we established teams focusing on the two key themes of “AI × BPO” and “roll-up,” and have been actively developing market analysis, investment activities and information dissemination. We also continue to write reports by organizing knowledge and hypotheses in each area. The fields of manufacturing, mobility, roll-up, and AI BPO are fields in which I have been particularly deeply involved within the company, and I will continue to expand our encounters with startups that will lead the next-generation industry through a hypothesis-based and data-based approach.
