Kento Imai graduated from the Graduate School of Life Science and Technology at Tokyo Institute of Technology (currently Institute of Science Tokyo) and joined JAFCO in April 2022. He is in charge of sourcing portfolio companies, executing investments, and providing post-investment support for seed and early-stage startups at the Investment Division.
I am engaged in investment operations with an interest in all businesses that contribute to the pursuit of individual happiness. In the medical and healthcare fields, I feel both empathy and joy in seeing innovative technologies and services contribute to improving people’s health and quality of life. I am also strongly interested in consumer services that enrich everyday life and the entertainment field that creates excitement and joy. I believe in the potential of businesses that not only solve social issues but also enrich people's minds and will do my best to support their growth.
