Keiichi Kurosaka graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University and joined JAFCO in April 1986. After working in the Investment Planning Department, the Listed Company Department, the Omiya Branch, and as the Head Office Investment Team Manager (department names, etc. are as they were at the time), he joined the Sales & Marketing Support Team in the current Business Development Division in 2004. In addition to supporting the growth of portfolio companies through customer development and capital-business alliances, he is in charge of supporting large companies in open innovation, new business development, CVC establishment and operation, and fund investment.
For about 20 years, I have continuously supported the growth of portfolio companies in terms of customer development and capital-business alliances with large companies. As part of my support for portfolio companies, I am also focusing on expanding our network with major business firms. Through these initiatives, I have proposed and supported the establishment of corporate venture capital, M&A, and capital-business alliances of business firms, and have been deeply involved in open innovation and new business development at leading business firms. I will continue to create fruitful opportunities for both portfolio companies and business firms.
