He graduated from the School of Law at Waseda University and joined JAFCO in April 1993. He was previously engaged in investments in startups and fund solicitation and management in the Investment Division and the current Fund Management Division. Since 2007, he has been a member of the Business Development Division, and in the Sales & Marketing Support Team, he has been engaged in supporting the growth of portfolio companies, such as developing customers and expanding sales channels. He is also in charge of building relations with large companies on the themes of open innovation and new business development.
Since joining the company, I have been passionate about serving as a bridge between companies and people through various encounters. Since being assigned to the current division in 2007, I have specialized further in these activities and focused on expanding the network with key personnel from leading operating companies. A number of projects have been realized through alliance proposals based on hypothesis development. In order to always provide “serendipity,” I place importance on finding and creating new possibilities by setting my antennae high every day.
