Kengo Miura joined JAFCO in April 2015 after graduating from the Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology at Tokyo Institute of Technology (currently Institute of Science Tokyo). In the Industry-Academia Life Sciences Investment Group of the Investment Division, he is engaged in investment and post-investment support dedicated to R&D-type startups. In addition, as a business promoter in the START project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency, he is working to support the commercialization of the seeds of technology originating from universities. He has been a leader in the Industry-Academia Life Sciences Investment Group since April 2024.
Together with entrepreneurs and researchers, I will continue to commit myself to the challenge of creating new industries from innovative technologies created at universities.
