Venture
After graduating from Doshisha University, he joined JAFCO in April 2010. To date, he has consistently been engaged in the venture investments in the western Japan region, mainly in Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka. He has been the General Manager of the West Japan Branch since September 2021 and serving as Partner since June 2022.
With the emergence and spread of online meetings and generative AI, geographical barriers surrounding venture companies have never been lower. I am confident that the time has come when entrepreneurs who take on the challenge of solving major social issues will emerge from all over the country, regardless of the area. My motivation is to be a key player who will open up the future together with such entrepreneurs, sharing vision and passion with them closely on the ground. I will continue to build up frontline practices to strongly support entrepreneurs’ “next step,” while being deeply rooted in the local community and working hand in hand with a variety of people.
