He joined JAFCO in April 1993. He has been involved in the growth strategy of venture companies for 30 years, including start-up investment to business launch, M&A and IPO. He has been Partner since March 2018 and President since April 2022.
I feel that a major turning point has come in Japan's industrial history. The growing complexity of social issues, the acceleration of technological innovation, and the diversification of our sense of values. As we face new challenges that cannot be dealt with in the same way as in the past, the significance of startups who are carving out the future is becoming more important than ever. We will continue to take on challenges based on the strengths that we have cultivated over many years, such as our attitude of being truly close to entrepreneurs and our ability to get things done. I pledge to continue working with entrepreneurs as a partner in launching various businesses and as a capitalist.
