JAFCO supports its overseas portfolio companies in the U.S. and
Asia through its Tokyo-based specialist teams.
VA Department I is for portfolio companies in the U.S. that are
investees of JAFCO
America Ventures Inc., while VA Department II does the same
for the Asian investees of JAFCO
Investment (Asia Pacific) Ltd
The support they provide to the portfolio companies in the regions
includes:
- introduction of customers and partners
- introduction of new personnel
- participation in management meetings
These activities are supported by our extensive network, which
includes fund investors, over 2,000 investee companies and the Nomura
